I am a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at Swansea University, where I try to bring science to life with a mix of serious research and serious fun.

Passionate about all things technical, I am at my happiest when surrounded by wires, whirring machines, and my beloved 3D printer – which I use to create everything from molecular models to science-themed swag.

A champion of science communication, I am the founder of Merthyr Science Festival.
